Subject: Alfred Molina Signs on to Law & Order: Los Angeles

Alfred Molina has signed to star on Law & Order on dvd: Los Angeles as Deputy District Attorney Morales, a show rep says.

The 57-year-old actor joins previously announced star Skeet Ulrich on the upcoming spin-off, set to debut this fall on NBC.

"I am thrilled that Fred is 'LOLA''s Deputy D.A.," creator and executive producer Dick Wolf said in a statement to Deadline, which first reported the news. "He joins a remarkable list of some of America's greatest character actors like Sam Waterson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jeff Goldblum, Steven Hill, Dianne Wiest  and Michael Moriarity as stars of the Law & Order on dvd-branded series."

Morales is described as a narcissistic but self-deprecating and altruistic prosecutor, according to casting breakdowns. Coming from a political family, he hopes to serve in public office one day.

Subject: Family Guy Returns With Jedi

On Saturday, Seth MacFarlane made his presence known at Comic-Con with two back to back panels for Family Guy and The Cleveland Show. After the past few years of attending MacFarlane's panels we knew about what to expect: vulgar humor which would have thousands of people laughing uncontrollably. And this year didn't disappoint.

Knowing the fervor of the crowd to see clips from the show, MacFarlane decided to surprise the audience by beginning the Family Guy dvd  panel with a lengthy highlight reel for the upcoming Family Guy Star Wars special "It's A Trap." Parodying Return of the Jedi, this special would continue of the tradition of "Blue Harvest" and "Something, Something, Something, Dark Side" by doing a scene by scene parody of the film with all the humor you would expect from the show. While they did comment that it would be the last Star Wars (or any other movie for that matter) parody, they assured us that "It's A Trap" would be worth it when it arrives on December 21st.

 The clip started out with the Family Guy sitting in front of the television like the previous two specials, and upon the lights going out again Stewie glibly states, "We're doing Jedi aren't we?" From there we are given the Star Wars crawl, this time with self deprecating comedy, geared towards being forced to yet another special, and the difficulty of creating these episodes. The rest of trailer consisted of short snippets of scenes from the episode, including: a guest appearance by American Dad's Roger (the alien) as an Imperial officer greeting Vader to the new Death Star, Jabba's palace being guarded by Consuela, Alec Baldwin as Jabba the Hutt, the Sarlacc monster being played by Meg, Carrie Fisher voicing Mon Mothma, another American Dad dvd guest appearance, this time by Klaus as Admiral Ackbar, and the ewoks fighting off the Empire – the ewoks all look like the bears from The Cleveland Show. The footage for "It's A Trap" was kept to nine minutes, and what was shown was very funny.

The Shepherd siblings will be repairing their relationship in the upcoming season of Grey's Anatomy.

Caterina Scorsone, who's been upped to series regular on Private Practice dvd, will appear on the third episode of Grey's Anatomy 's Season 7, executive producer Shonda Rhimes tells us.

Grey's Anatomy dvd and Private Practice 's next crossover? A Shepherd reunion

Though Rhimes declined to offer storyline details, sources tell us that Scorsone's Dr. Amelia Shepherd goes to Seattle to reconcile with brother Derek (Patrick Dempsey).

The two have not been on speaking terms since Amelia turned to drugs while grieving the death of her father, who was shot and killed in front of her and Derek.

Law and Order first came to my attention from channel-surfing. A handsome green-eyed,dark-haired man riveted my attention who was unknown to me as Christopher Noth who plays Detective Mike Logan. I watched this interesting criminal & legal program with interest and kept watching until the End of Season Five when Chris Noth was asked to leave the show as they wanted a "younger,cheaper actor" to replace him quoting Noth. This is like N.Y.P.D. Blue in it's first year- David Caruso left after the first season and that is the end of my interest in that show. Not everyone will be watching this for the handsome actor who holds the main interest of many of the viewers as this program holds it's own. The first five seasons are the best- not just because of Chris Noth but also because they had not yet started changing cast members like they were daily clothes changes,they had also kept to the first half being law with the second half being order which is a very different approach to television. This is a G-rated show compared to the follow-up shows like NYPD Blue which is very R-Rated in it's language & nudity which isn't what Law & Order is about.Law and Order is more of a less gritty legal documentary rather than a cop show.If you like criminal investigation and legal prosecution this is an excellent dvd set to enjoy. The acting,writing & stories alone are worth viewing. The crimes and the joint police/attorneys process of catching the correct people to prosecute is quite fascinating. After season 1, one just wants season 2,Season 3,Season 4, season 5.The present day Law & Order is not worth watching unless you don't mind that it is a completely different program than when it first began. This first season is a glimpse of why it was a great show and why all things end for a reason.

The Sopranos is probably the greatest television series ever. Each actor plays in the show a complete human being. Filled with layers of psychological depth of the complex relations that are combined in a way that imitates life, so that anyone anywhere can see a bit of themselves in the ugly middle age, Tony "other" family and other characters of the series. Because The Sopranos took the time to capture the little things that we are only human. Each character has flaws and is full of contradictions, each character lives with his contradictions and ignores the others. David Chase once said jokingly of the soprano was "that the United States has become so selfish that even a gangster guy who invented the idea that I need therapy first." I think challenging a central theme of The Sopranos, especially the first season. Last season the characters are developed in the eyes of the beholder, as compared to life and all its trials and tribulations.All treated differently from each other a big hit to its ruin, but at the end of their support system itself remains a general equilibrium. Comment on the topics show the modern American is obliged to take into account. I do not think that history will forget The Sopranos, the series that redefined what many expect when they sit down to watch television. In all likelihood, you will be totally captivated. Each episode is based on trying different epidode are provided and are taken from the season builds to its final climax. The last episode of this season is in my opinion, as one of the best episodes of The Sopranos.

For one of the first times, our lives were the storylines and we were being shown in an honest way - just as human beings living our lives the best way we know how. But I continued watching, as I was advised by a friend that it gets better. After the first 3 episodes, my opinion hadn't changed. The storylines were almost identical to the UK version, even some of the dialogue was identical. But then something happened. The original UK storylines were diverged and new ones added and it started to become a whole new show. Where the UK version finished,the characters were developed within such wonderful, honest sotrylines that I also became elated at this version of Queer As Folk. So persistance does pay."""

"""There's a bittersweet quality to the final season of """"Monk"""" -- on one hand, it's sad that the series is finally ending, and on the other hand it has some of the most particularly because it's the best season that the show has had in quite a while. And the writers take care to wrap up various plot threads that have wound through the series (Trudy's murder, Monk's desire to rejoin the police force) and arrange futures for most of the characters. And along the way, they provide a solid string of murder mysteries -- baffling crimes, obscure clues, and new eccentricities. And while there are many bittersweet moments, especially in the last two or three episodes, the season is peppered with some comedy as well (Monk hosts a hilariously squeaky-clean bachelor party) and some deliciously hilarious dialogue (""""There is no Opposite Killer! If there was, you would have been killed by a falling rocket scientist years ago!""""). And as for the ending... well, it has some major shocks and plot twists, and the mystery is rather brief and simple. However, the resolution of Monk's story is intensely satisfying and leaves you feeling warm'n'fuzzy.

Tony Shalhoub is, as ever, lovably oddballish as Adrian Monk; while his tragicomic performances are brilliant throughout the season, his performance in the final episode is shattering, raw and eventually uplifting. Traylor Howard, Jason Gray-Stanford and Ted Levine give solid performances (and their characters all get new romantic interests... some quite surprising!), and there are some excellent guest turns by Schram, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Virginia Madsen. But Shalhoub is the undisputed star of this season. """

I can't believe Lost is over--what a journey. In my opinion, Season 6 has been the best season yet! Not to offend but I think a lot of the people who "hated" the ending didn't truly understand it. I know that many questions were unanswered but I think we all saw that coming and I think it was amazing that even up to the last ten minutes the writers still had us all guessing! I am totally impressed with it and could not have asked for a more perfect ending!

Weeds is a great series. the actors are great, writing is great. the end of the season always leaves me wanting more. can't get enoughWeeds. california is a wonderful state in which to live and use medicinal marijuana. Weeds gives a glimpse of marijuana dispensaries that should serve as a model for the other 49 states.

Gray’s anatomy is NOT for the faint of heart. The characters get under your skin and becomefamily. Watching them grow and evolve is like watching your own family grow and evolve. This season was incredible, and I highly recommend it to anyone interesting in some incredible storyline and great acting. Especially the finale... you won't be able to stop talking about thisshow!!
